Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support for Power Quality products (UPS and Emergency Lighting) across Italy. Based in Segrate (Milan), Padova, or Bologna, you will perform commissioning, maintenance, and repairs, travel extensively, and contribute to customer satisfaction while upholding safety standards.

You will engage in hands-on troubleshooting, generate detailed service reports, and participate in training programs to stay current with Eaton

Qualifications

Technical high school diploma or higher, PES/PAV/PEI and PREPOSTO qualification will be considered as a plus
min. 3/5 years of experience in on-site Service. Knowledge of UPS and/or power electronic systems will be considered a plus

Responsibilities

Deliver on-site technical services including commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades.
Ensure all activities comply with EHS standards and local regulations.
Plan, coordinate, and manage service interventions directly with customers.
Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions to maximize equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
Complete detailed service reports and communicate findings to customers and internal stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for spare parts, upgrades, and additional services to support growth.
Provide technical support to customers, partners, and subcontractors.
Deliver basic product and technical training to customers as required.
