Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Italian team with base options in Segrate (Milan), Padova, or Bologna. You will deliver on-site technical services for Power Quality products, including UPS and Emergency Lighting, focusing on commissioning, maintenance, and repairs.

The role offers a competitive salary and extensive training opportunities within Eaton's global network. Travel within Italy and occasional international assignments are required, with on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

Technical high school diploma or higher; PES/PAV/PEI and PREPOSTO qualification will be considered as a plus.
min. 3/5 years of experience in on-site Service; Knowledge of UPS and/or power electronic systems will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Deliver on-site technical services including commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades.
Ensure all activities comply with EHS standards and local regulations.
Plan, coordinate, and manage service interventions directly with customers.
Diagnose technical issues and implement solutions to maximize equipment performance.
Verify accuracy of technical information and address discrepancies promptly.
Complete detailed service reports and communicate findings to customers and internal stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for spare parts, upgrades, and additional services to support growth.
Provide technical support to customers, service partners, and subcontractors.
Deliver basic product and technical training to customers and manage spare parts inventory.
