Job summary

NCIA is seeking support services for the management of deployable communication and information systems at the Deployable Air Command & Control Centre (DACCC) in Poggio Renatico, Italy. The role focuses on inventory, asset management, and ensuring accurate data in the NATO NDSS and related systems.

Applicants should have 2+ years in inventory control, familiarity with CIS equipment identification, and experience working in international or governmental environments.

Qualifications

• Two years’ familiarity with Telecommunication/CIS systems and components.

• Inventory systems like Enterprise Business Application used by NCIA and related radar-system tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and inventory all D-CIS-related equipment within DACCC facilities.
• Determine the appropriate system of record (e.g., NDSS, NCIS) for each item.
• Input all relevant data into the correct system.
• Conduct bi-monthly physical inspections of warehouses and storage containers.
• Ensure all items are identified, labeled, and properly recorded.
• Apply barcodes to all identified items and register them in the system.
• Support a complete floor-to-book inventory process.
• Provide administrative and analytical support to the CSS Division, including data collection and reporting in line with NATO rules.

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

• At least two years of proven experience in inventory and asset management
• Demonstrated expertise in relevant systems of record
• Knowledge of item identification and data recording processes
• Have at least two years of familiarity with Telecommunication/CIS systems and associated components
• Required Expertise:
• NATO Depot and Supply System (NDSS)
• Inventory systems like Enterprise Business Application used by NCIA and manufacture applications for managing the radar systems

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience in international or governmental environments

DUTIES/ROLE:

• Identify and inventory all D-CIS-related equipment within DACCC facilities
• Determine the appropriate system of record (e.g., NDSS, NCIS) for each item
• Input all relevant data into the appropriate system
• Conduct physical inspections of warehouses and storage containers every two months
• Ensure all items are identified, labeled, and properly recorded
• Apply barcodes to all identified items and register them in the system
• Support the execution of a complete floor-to-book inventory
• Provide administrative and analytical support to the CSS Division in relation to the tasks described above, including the collection and consolidation of data, as well as the preparation of reports and inventories in compliance with NATO Financial Rules and ISPAS recommendations
