Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, Platform to own the backend powering payments, subscriptions, auth, and the public TTS API across web and mobile. This role sits on the Turin-based Platform team, building reliable services for millions of users in a distributed environment.

You will design, ship, and optimize services, collaborate with product and web teams, and leverage Docker/Kubernetes and GCP. Focus on automation, code quality, and scalable architectures to reduce manual toil.

Competenze

• Proven backend experience in TS/Node.
• Direct experience with GCP; working knowledge of AWS/Azure.
• Willing to hand off owned work with tangible results.
• Describe a daily setup with AI agents and automation.
• Check results against logs and live state, not summaries.
• Judgment to prune unnecessary work and explain why.
• Prefers being corrected over being right.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Experience deploying high-availability apps on Kubernetes.
