Allegion in Faenza, Italy is seeking a Plant Material Manager to translate sales orders and SIOP forecasts into robust material and production plans, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal inventory. You will lead a team of planning specialists, coordinate with Production, Procurement, Sales and Quality, and drive continuous improvement in planning and inventory management.

Fluency in English and experience with ERP/MRP systems are required; a 5-year track record in manufacturing planning is

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
5+ years’ experience in material planning/production planning within a manufacturing environment.
Practical experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) tools, demand planning software or Power BI for reporting.
Fluency in English must be demonstrated.

Mansioni

Convert sales orders and SIOP forecast into short- and medium-term material and production plans for the plant.
Run and maintain MRP/ERP planning outputs; create planned orders, purchase requisitions and production schedules.
Manage inventory levels to target service and cost objectives (safety stock, min/max, reorder points).
Place and follow up purchase orders with suppliers, monitor lead times and expedite when needed.
Collaborate with procurement to qualify alternate suppliers and support supplier performance improvements.
