Descrizione del lavoro

Danfoss Power Solutions in Reggio Emilia is looking for a Material Planner to ensure materials are available at the right time to support production and meet customer demand. You will manage material availability and inventory, identify supply risks, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain a reliable flow of components and optimize supply chain performance.

This role involves cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Production Planning and Manufacturing to resolve

Competenze

Experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain, Production Planning, or Inventory Management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with ERP systems, such as SAP, combined with good Microsoft Excel skills for planning, reporting, and data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret supply, demand, and inventory data and translate insights into actions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with external suppliers.
Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, combined with a proactive and collaborative approach to working in a dynamic environment.

Mansioni

Ensure material availability in line with production plans and customer demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Monitor supply and demand requirements, proactively identifying and mitigating risks related to shortages, excess inventory, and delivery delays.
Manage material planning activities, including supplier follow-up, delivery management, replenishment, and exception handling.
Collaborate with Procurement, Production Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and suppliers to resolve material constraints and maintain production continuity.
Analyze supply, demand, inventory, and supplier performance data to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement in planning and supply chain performance.
