Overview

We are looking for a material planner. The purpose of the position is to supervise the correct supply of the components necessary to guarantee the production of the plant, ensuring a level of stock consistent with the targets set and supporting the team in resolving anomalies and supply delays.

Responsibilities
  • To monitor the global supply flow of components to ensure the satisfaction of customer needs.
  • Ensure the balance of needs / resources (MRP) to ensure the availability of components necessary for the production of subsets and finished products.
  • Check and manage the supplier order book on a daily basis.
  • Piloting cyclical inventories of the relevant components and participating in the quarterly / annual.
  • Monitor the costs of component management and propose action plans for their reduction.
  • Manage the stock value of the entire product family assigned within the fixed targets.
  • Manage the end-of-life phases of components based on the product or in particular situations
  • Evaluate and propose improvements to the logistics contracts with suppliers to the purchasing office to optimize the logistics parameters
  • Support the logistics manager in the analysis phase to improve internal logistics flows.
