Cap Ingelec is seeking a Planning Engineer to optimize project timelines and coordinate subcontractors on site in Milan. You will proactively identify scheduling risks and opportunities across major industrial building projects as a General Contractor.

The role emphasizes on-site planning, cross-functional collaboration with design and construction teams, and frequent travel across Italy to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.

• Engineering background in the construction industry with proven experience in planning, scheduling and coordination.
• Proficient in MS Project and Primavera P6.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Based mainly on site with frequent travel across Italy.

As part of our growth and organizational development around major industrial building projects as a General Contractor, we are seeking a Planning Engineer in Milan. You will be responsible for optimizing project timelines at every stage, coordinating subcontractors on site, and proactively identifying risks and opportunities related to project scheduling.

More Specifically, Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

• Develop detailed project execution plans and schedules;
• Manage the planning of complex, interconnected projects, including resource allocation and cost optimization;
• Monitor project progress and implement schedule adjustments to ensure delivery on time and within budget;
• Challenge construction methodologies and technical solutions to improve overall project performance;
• Work closely with the Design and Construction teams to optimize project delivery schedules and cost efficiency;
• Anticipate potential issues and adjust schedules to ensure the initial project timeline is maintained;
• Prepare schedule reports and monitor project progress for the client, internal stakeholders, and project partners.

Profile

With an engineering background in the construction industry, you have proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination. Proficient in MS Project and Primavera P6, you possess a strong technical mindset and thrive in multicultural environments. Fluency in Italian and English is required. Mainly based on site, close to the construction activities, you are open to frequent travel across Italy.
