RINA Piraeus Team in Milan, Italy is seeking a skilled Project Planner with extensive experience in energy sector EPC contracts. This freelance role requires strong planning, scheduling, and technical reading of contract terms to ensure alignment with QA plans and customer specs.

The ideal candidate has over 10 years in oil & gas or power generation EPC projects, proficiency with Primavera Project Planner, and fluency in Italian.

Competenze

• Italian knowledge is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of foreign languages (preferable English, French or Spanish) including technical dictionary will be a plus.
• Must be experienced in planning and scheduling of activities for all aspects of EPCC of major oil / gas plants.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret contract terms, conditions and specifications, knowledge of quality control and assurance functions, methods of progress measurements and verification.

• Drawing plans using specialised design software packages.
• Ensuring plans meet the Customer's specifications.
• Making estimations for timescales and costs.

• Be accountable for the control and supervision, monitoring and guidance of the day-to-day activities of the Planning team.
• Supervising, delivering a resourced robust baseline project schedules (team size dependent).
• Overseeing the coordination and production of all project plans and associated documents (S curves, Histograms, tabulated man-hour / progress data).
• Providing the Management Team with the relevant contract information.
• Ensuring that all services and deliverables conform to Company, client and Project QA Plan, policies, requirements and standards.
• Promoting good working relations within the Project Controls Teams and other project departments and Customer representatives.
• Ensuring all planning work is carried out in compliance with Corporate and Project specific procedures

WORK EXPERIENCE – YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

• At least more than 10 year experience in the offshore/onshore Oil & Gas or power generation industries EPC contracts in the field of pressure retaining components, piping, pipelines, valves, rotating equipment, steel structures etc.
