Job summary

Caldic in Italy seeks a Technical Application & Formulation Specialist for Personal Care to establish and operate a new application laboratory, develop formulations, and support customers across Europe.

You will serve as the key technical liaison among customers, suppliers, and internal teams, driving projects and translating technical benefits into customer value in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in formulation development, application support, technical service, or laboratory work in Personal Care.
• Strong understanding of Personal Care formulation principles and ingredient functionality.

Responsibilities

• Establish and operate the Personal Care application laboratory within 12–24 months.
• Develop and showcase innovative Personal Care formulations using supplier ingredients.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Support business growth with technical-commercial opportunities and project execution.
