Job summary

Opella Healthcare Group is seeking a People Operations Lead for Western Europe & Italy to oversee payroll, time administration and benefits while driving standardization and operational excellence across multiple markets. You will partner with local People & Culture teams, regional and global stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver accurate, compliant, and employee-focused services.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing multi-country payroll operations and employee lifecycle services.
Strong knowledge of payroll governance, labor compliance and service delivery models.
Experience with outsourced payroll providers and vendor management.
Strong stakeholder management across local, regional and global teams.
Fluent English; additional European languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead payroll, time administration and benefits operations across Western Europe & Italy.
Coordinate onboarding, contract administration, changes, mobility and offboarding.
Monitor service metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, payroll regulations and internal policies.
Partner with Legal, Finance, Compliance to manage risk and audits.
