Job summary

AMA Stay is seeking a passionate Breakfast Cook to lead our morning service, preparing fresh, high-quality breakfast offerings from eggs to Mediterranean buffet items. You will ensure excellent presentation, freshness, and adherence to AMA Stay standards while working with a dedicated kitchen team.

Minimum 1–2 years in a kitchen or culinary school graduate, with reliable start times and strong hygiene practices. Italian and English language skills are required, and accommodation is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen during the morning service.
• Restock buffet lines and maintain inventory freshness during peak service.
• Support morning prep and smooth handover for afternoon service.

Tasks

• Preparing, setting up, and organising breakfast workstations with all required ingredients and cooking equipment
• Preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast items (eggs made-to-order, warm savory dishes, baked goods, fresh juices, and buffet displays) according to AMA Stay standards
• Ensuring excellent presentation, freshness, and attention to detail before dishes and buffet spreads are served
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and strictly sanitized kitchen environment throughout the morning service
• Restocking buffet lines and maintaining inventory freshness during peak service hoursEnsuring all food products are correctly stored, labeled, and handled in compliance with food safety standards
• Supporting the kitchen team with morning prep and smooth handover for afternoon service

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen role or a diploma from a culinary school (breakfast/brill experience is a plus)
• Languages: Italian and English
• Reliability and punctuality for early morning shift starts
• Good knowledge of essential cooking techniques and breakfast preparation methods
