Saipem in Milan, Italy, is seeking an Offshore Structural Engineer (hull specialist) to support the Naval Department on ENCAR projects. You will review technical documentation, contribute to the structural design brief, and liaise with project specialists.

You should have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering and at least 5 years’ offshore structural experience; English and Italian (C1) required; a permanent contract with hybrid working options is offered.

Competenze

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years as offshore structural engineer in structured companies.
• Fluent in English and Italian (C1).

Mansioni

• Review client technical documentation and requirements.
• Contribute to the writing of the Project Structural Design Brief (roadmap of all structural design work).
• Liaise with other Project Specialists for proper completion of work.
• Design structural systems prioritising cost, constructability and safety; supervise MTO.
• Verify structural strength or dynamic behaviour of items designed by others.
