Aretè & Cocchi Technology is seeking an Offshore Structural Engineer (hull specialist) in Milan, Italy. This role involves reviewing technical documentation, designing structural systems, and collaborating with project teams to ensure optimal engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. The company offers a salary starting at €45,000, a hybrid working model, and a comprehensive benefits package.

As Offshore Structural Engineer (hull specialist), you will respond to the Head of Naval Department and be part of the ENCAR.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• Review Client technical documentation and requirements
• Contribute to the writing of the Project Structural Design Brief (roadmap of all the structural design and analyses work on the project)
• Liaise with other Project Specialists and Designers whenever required for proper completion of the work assigned
• Design structural systems and components, pursuing objectives of sound engineering and design optimization in terms of costs, fabrication simplicity, constructability and safety and supervise setting up of bill of quantities or material take off (MTO)
• Verify structural strength or dynamic behaviour of items designed by others (piping support Specialists, Vendors, technical building Suppliers, etc.)

What are we looking for?

Education: Master’s Degree/Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering

Experience: minimum 5 years as offshore structural engineer within structured companies

Technical/IT Skills:

• Office Suite
