Saipem is looking for a Sealine Engineer to join the SEATRUN department to design subsea systems and oversee related procurement for offshore and onshore projects worldwide.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree with a focus on structural engineering, English at least B1, and 0–5 years of experience. Proficiency in FE tools (Abaqus/Ansys) and MS Office is required, with willingness to travel and work abroad.

As Sealine Engineer, you will join our Department SEATRUN conducting the following activities:

Subsea System Design Engineering with specific reference to structural analysis of subsea pipeline (pipeline wall thickness sizing, on-bottom stability, in place static and dynamic analysis, preparation of technical deliverables such as technical report and or drawings, etc…)

Technical activities associated with Sealine System Procurement with specific reference to the preparation of material take-offs, request for quotations, technical bid evaluations, and vendor follow-ups during project execution.

QUALIFICATION:

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with a strong focus/preference on structural engineering.

KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE:

Min B1

0 to 5 years of experience

IT SKILLS:

Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office package

Proficiency in Finite Element (FE) software such as Abaqus, Ansys, or equivalent.

Strong analytical abilities to assess complex data and provide insightful solutions.

Excellent communication skills to clearly convey ideas and collaborate with team members.

Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and situations.

Problem-solving orientation to identify issues and develop effective strategies.
