Aretè & Cocchi Technology in Milano, Italy is seeking a Naval Architect Lead to oversee naval deliverables and manage project timelines. With a minimum of 10 years of experience required, you'll work closely with classification society rules and lead the development of ship design feedback dossiers.

The role includes a hybrid working model, competitive starting pay of not lower than €56,000, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and wellness services.

As Naval Architect Lead, you will respond to the Head of Naval Department and be part of the ENCAR.

Responsibilities

• Check of naval deliverables (procedures, notes, technical reports)


• Interfaces with classification society rules (ABS, BV and/or DNV), with other naval disciplines including construction team, with Clients and Fabrication Companies/Yard.


• Develop feedback dossiers from projects, develop knowledge of Naval Engineer competences in vessel hydrostatic and hydrodynamic


• Management of the timeline of the hull portion and quantities management activity;


• Naval engineering and, more specifically, in vessel hydrostatic;

Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering

Experience: minimum 10 years as a Naval Architect Lead within structured companies

Technical/IT Skills: Numerical techniques and softwares used in naval engineering such as FEM techniques and panel model based numerical.

Travel Requirements

You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the project assigned.
