Job summary

Sistemi e servizi di compressione Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer OEM Chiller to provide technical and commercial support to OEM customers and internal sales teams across the pre‑sales process. You will analyze requirements, craft optimized chiller and heat pump solutions, and prepare technical proposals and quotations.

This role requires collaboration with R&D, engineering, manufacturing and product management, strong HVAC knowledge, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in HVAC, refrigeration, chillers, heat pumps, or OEM applications.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and hydronic systems.
• Experience in technical sales support, application engineering, or pre-sales roles.
• Ability to interpret technical specs, drawings, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to OEM customers for chillers and heat pumps.
• Analyze customer specifications and application requirements to identify optimal solutions.
• Prepare technical selections, performance calculations, and system recommendations.
• Develop and review technical and commercial proposals with sales and product teams.
• Support quotation processes with technical accuracy and feasibility.
• Deliver technical presentations, training, and product demos for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary technical contact during the pre-sales phase.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and product management on requirements.
• Support New Product Development with market feedback and customer insights.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities in HVAC and OEM sectors.
