Welocalize is expanding its accessibility testing network to validate language-specific accessibility of localized content, focusing on Italian translation quality and usability. You will review translations for accuracy and naturalness using native screen readers and assistive technologies across web, mobile, and documents.

The role requires fluency in Italian, hands-on AT testing experience, and knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and EN 301 549.

Formación

• Native or near-native fluency in Italian and ability to judge naturalness of translations.
• Hands-on experience testing digital content with assistive technology.
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and EN 301 549.
• Ability to evaluate content from a native-speaker accessibility perspective.

Responsabilidades

• Validate language codes in HTML and PDF metadata and identify mixed-language content.
• Perform in-language screen reader testing using native tools.
• Review multimedia accessibility: captions, transcripts, audio descriptions and controls.
• Log defects with WCAG/PDF-UA references and provide clear reports.
