Melia Hotels International offers an internship in the Sales area focused on MICE group leads in Milan. You will assist with quotation and contracting for hotels, preparing quotes for leads with +10 rooms and coordinating with the MARS system to keep data up to date.

You will learn to negotiate with customers, block rooms in the PMS after confirmation, and coordinate site inspections with hotel operations to maximise group revenues and customer satisfaction.

Competenze

• University degree in Tourism or Business.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Willingness to learn and support multiple stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Prepare quotes for leads with +10 rooms, with or without meeting rooms, to maximise group revenue.
• Update and manage group business and keep data in the MARS system current.
• Support colleagues in updating leads in MARS and negotiating with customers in line with the business plan for MICE hotels.
• Ensure service contracts are drawn up and rooms are blocked in the PMS after group confirmations.
• Coordinate with hotel Operations and promote site inspections to improve group conversions.
• Provide excellent handover of files to hotels after contracting and comply with brand standards.
