Job summary

The Social Hub in Florence is seeking a Meeting & Events Coordinator Intern to support the commercial and operational delivery of events at our Belfiore location. From inquiry to post-event, you will blend sales support, event coordination and hands-on execution to create seamless experiences for guests.

You will work closely with guests and internal teams to organise meetings, conferences, private dinners and corporate gatherings, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in university, preferably Hospitality, Tourism, Event Management or Business.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with enquiries, quotations and bookings for Meetings & Events via phone, email and third-party channels.
• Support development of customer accounts to grow business in meetings, accommodation, F&B and memberships.
• Identify commercial opportunities through cross-selling and upselling.
• Prepare contracts, event orders, function sheets and operational documentation.
• Coordinate with Banqueting, Front Office, F&B, Kitchen, Housekeeping and Technical teams.
• Be present during events to welcome clients and monitor event flow.
• Conduct site inspections and assist during client meetings.
• Follow up with guests before, during and after events to ensure exceptional experience.
• Contribute to local commercial strategy and enhance guest journey for Meetings & Events.
