Nokia is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Italy to contribute to the development of pluggable modules for Optical Networks. You will own the mechanical assembly design from concept through fabrication, testing and validation, interfacing with HW Designers, Optical Engineers and manufacturers.

You will work in a multinational environment, require MS in Mechanical Engineering, hands-on CAD with CREO, and willingness to travel across Europe and the Far East.

Formación

• MS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Hands-on CAD modeling experience with CREO preferred.
• Fluency in English; ability to work in a multinational environment.
• Willingness to travel across Europe and Far East Asia.

Responsabilidades

• Own the overall physical design of pluggable modules, interfacing with HW Designers, Optical Engineers, Thermal Simulation Engineers and manufacturers.
• Ensure form factor compliance, thermal dissipation and manufacturability; manage test reports and component documentation.
• Collaborate across time zones with stakeholders; contribute to design development, testing and validation.
