Prysmian in Milan is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge machinery used in the production of power and telecommunications cables. You will participate in the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning, in an international environment across sites worldwide.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering – Power Electronics and 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong English, and willingness to travel.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering – Power Electronics.
• 5–7 years of professional experience in technical roles (industrial).
• English proficiency.
• Strong communication, negotiation and teamwork skills.
• Experience managing inter-departmental and multicultural relations; willingness to travel.

Mansioni

• Define electrical specifications for machinery and equipment in cable manufacturing.
• Design and develop electrical, automation, and drive systems.
• Evaluate and select suppliers for electrical panels and automation solutions.
• Support installation, commissioning, and start-up of equipment worldwide.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure performance and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement with robust engineering solutions.
