Job summary

De'Longhi Group in Treviso, Italy, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design components and sub-assemblies within the New Product Development process, from initial spec to SOP. You will collaborate with design, electronics, testing, and quality teams to drive right-first-time outcomes.

Requirements include a BEng/BSc, 2+ years in mechanical design, Siemens NX expertise, and ability to document clearly in English.

Qualifications

BEng or BSc in engineering or related field.
Experience designing mechanical components and systems.
Knowledge of 3D design tools (Siemens NX).
Experience in mass production product development.
Ability to evaluate lab equipment and test results.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to analyze and evaluate specifications.
Prepare preliminary product feasibility studies with Industrial Design and R&D.
Identify risks that could affect the development process.
Create and maintain component and sub-assembly specs.
Execute CAD design for parts and layout definitions (3D/2D).
Support R&D in prototypes testing.
Prepare and participate in DFMEA.
Prepare and maintain the technical BOM.
Collaborate with local R&D and Purchasing on costs/investments.
Work with moulding departments to analyze processes.
Support Engineering Build and pre-production series.
Lead technical design reviews and document project status.
