Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the Engineering Department in the design and documentation of screw compressors used in biogas applications.

You will collaborate with design, production, quality, and purchasing teams, leveraging 2D/3D CAD and solid drawing knowledge. Responsibilities include creating/updating drawings, BOMs and assembly instructions, performing dimensional checks, and ensuring manufacturability and quality while managing technical docs in

Qualifications

• Preferably some type of technical education in Industrial Technologies or Mechanical fields.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks 3D.
• High degree of autonomy, while also capable of working in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical designers in creating and updating technical drawings and assemblies using CAD tools.
• Perform dimensional checks on machines during assembly and finishing phases.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Purchasing to revise drawings, manage specifications, and resolve non-conformities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (drawings, BOMs, assembly instructions).
• Apply knowledge of mechanical components and manufacturing processes to ensure feasibility and quality.
• Manage technical documentation within company systems (PDM/PLM).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of products and engineering processes.
