GE Vernova, Inc. in Italy seeks a Material Specialist Intern to support direct material management for Aero Alliance Avenza Service Shop (Italy). The 6-month internship may extend for an additional 6 months, reporting to the Material Procurement Leader.

Responsibilities include PO placement and follow-up, quotation management, supplier relationships, and ERP updates, with an emphasis on standardizing processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Fluency in English, in writing and speaking.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Procurement and Sourcing interest.
• Negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Be flexible in a dynamic environment.

Mansioni

• Manage direct material (new and repaired) requests and place/follow up on purchase orders.
• Manage quotations (technical & commercial approval) and follow up with vendors on PO status.
• Maintain supplier relationships for PO execution, scheduling changes and ERP updates.
• Support standardization of processes within the team.
