Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Intern – Production Controller for our Pomigliano Plant. You will act as a bridge between shop and fulfillment, focusing on monitoring production line and supporting scheduling and planning activities.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Engineering, strong Excel skills, and fluency in Italian and English. You will join a team committed to delivering on-time production while learning production control practices in a global aerospace environment.

Job Description Summary

Essential Responsibilities

• Learn how to monitor shop production in order to assure delivery plan
• Verify supplier commit and expedite delays to ensure production scheduling
• Support shop activities
• Support shop and Materials Planning team to improve production lead time, turns and inventory
• Provide support in communication among different functions
• Monitor operational alignment with production plan and KPIs

Qualifications/Requirements

• Master's Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Mechanical Engineering of Management Engineering
• Knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel
• Analytical, organizational and planning skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of technical drawing
• Curious and eager to learn
• Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently
• Fluent Italian and English
• Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
