Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Cameri, Italy invites applications for a Production & Material Planning Intern to support production planning, material management and supplier coordination in a hands-on, on-site internship.

This role focuses on developing practical experience within an international manufacturing environment. You will work with Excel and Oracle ERP, gaining exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations and contributing to meeting customer delivery commitments during a 6-month program.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• Interest in production planning, material management, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
• Previous internship or practical experience is a plus but not required.
• Full-time availability on-site for the 6-month internship.

Responsibilities

• Support creation and management of production plans based on demand, material availability and capacity.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules to respond to changes and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate daily activities with Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Warehouse teams.
• Assist material planning, supplier delivery schedules and component availability.
• Communicate with suppliers to follow up on deliveries and manage delays.
• Analyse production and supply chain data using Excel and internal planning systems.
• Gain experience with Oracle ERP and end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain operations.
