Job summary

Avio Aero in Pomigliano d'Arco is seeking an Intern - Production Controller to bridge the shop floor and fulfillment teams. You will monitor the production line and support execution against the delivery plan, while learning to optimize lead times and inventory.

Collaboration with the Materials Planning team and other functions is key. The role requires a Master's in Engineering, fluency in Italian and English, and proficiency with Excel; SAP knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical or Management Engineering.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Analytical, organizational and planning abilities.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of technical drawing.
• Curious and eager to learn.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently.
• Fluent Italian and English.
• Work visa as required by local regulations.

Job Description Summary

As an Intern - Production Controller in our Pomigliano Plant, you will interface between the shop and fulfillment team and your main role will be monitoring and supporting production line.

Essential Responsibilities

• Learn how to monitor shop production in order to assure delivery plan
• Verify supplier commit and expedite delays to ensure production scheduling
• Support shop activities
• Support shop and Materials Planning team to improve production lead time, turns and inventory
• Provide support in communication among different functions
• Monitor operational alignment with production plan and KPIs

Qualifications/Requirements

• Master's Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Mechanical Engineering of Management Engineering
• Knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel
• Analytical, organizational and planning skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of technical drawing
• Curious and eager to learn
• Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently
• Fluent Italian and English
• Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
