Job summary

EssilorLuxottica invites applications for a hands-on role on the Italian shop floor. You will study mass production plating and painting equipment, learn factors affecting painting processes, and support production output and industrialization.

You will plan maintenance on key machines (DURR), run quality tests, and analyze data to provide leaders with actionable reports for future manufacturing needs. This position emphasizes teamwork and learning by doing.

• You have a Degree in Chemical or Materials Engineering.

• You are proficient with MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Study mass production plating and painting equipment.
• Learn key factors of painting processes.
• Support production output and industrialization process.
• Plan and support maintenance execution on key machines (DURR).
• Run tests for quality improvement.
• Analyze production processes, schedules, methods, and data and provide reports with data and statistics for future manufacturing needs.
• Process measurement (OEE, capabilities, cycle time, balancing, desaturation)
• Benchmarking with other surface treatment technologies inside EssilorLuxottica
• Learn and support painting department’s automation processes.

Your role

• Study mass production plating and painting equipment;
• Learn key factors of painting processes;
• Support production output and industrialization process.
• Plan and support maintenance execution on key machines (DURR);
• Run test for quality improvement;
• Analyze production processes, schedules, methods, and other data and then provide business leaders with reports containing the data and statistics to enable them to better understand future requirements needed for the manufacturing process.
• Process measurement (OEE, capabilities, cycle time, balancing, desaturation)
• Benchmarking with other surface treatment technologies inside Essilorluxottica;
• Learn and support painting department’s automation processes.

Main requirements:

• You have a Degree in Chemical or Materials Engineering
• You have strong Project Management skills.
• You have good knowledge of Ms Office (in particular Excel and Power Point)
• You are a flexible person, able to adapt in a contest of constant change
• You have strong facilitation and communication skills
