Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is offering an internship for a Finishing Production Engineer in Sedico, Italy. You will support production processes, analyze efficiency, and develop managerial skills while collaborating with the assembly line.

You will monitor KPIs, assist scheduling, detect deviations, and propose corrective actions to improve process reliability. This role emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or Data Science.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good relationship skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, sorting).
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support monitoring and analysis of efficiency and OEE KPIs.
• Assist in production scheduling and deviation detection with corrective actions.
• Contribute to quality KPI monitoring and standards compliance.
• Learn delegation and teamwork within the production environment.
• Support product quality checks in the assigned area.
• Gain understanding of work cycles and production methods.
• Support workplace safety activities and risk assessment.

Your role

We are looking for a Finishing Production Engineer who will support and optimize the production processes in the Finishing Department at our Operations Plant in Sedico (BL), Italy.

This role offers the opportunity to analyze key metrics, improve production efficiency, and develop managerial skills while working with our assembly line.

Main responsibilities:

Support in monitoring and analyzing efficiency and OEE KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.

Assist in production scheduling, detection of deviations, and proposal of corrective actions to ensure process reliability.

Contribute to the monitoring of quality KPIs and collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with standards.

Learn and apply the principles of delegation and teamwork within the production environment.

Support the supervision of product quality checks within the assigned production area.

Gain understanding of work cycles, production methods.

Support activities related to workplace safety and participate in risk assessment initiatives.

Main requirements:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Data Sience field
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good relationship skills
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel (main functions, pivot tables, advanced sorting etc..).
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
