Four Seasons Hotel Firenze in Florence is seeking a Manager in Training for People & Culture. This 18-month MIT program offers exposure to all P&C facets, mentorship, and cross-functional experiences to develop leadership potential.

You will work with the People & Culture team to deliver an exceptional employee experience, with opportunities to grow into future leadership roles within the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, hospitality, or a related field is required.
• Previous internship or work experience in HR, hospitality, or a people-focused environment is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and discreet handling of information.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the People & Culture department, assisting initiatives.
• Develop understanding of Four Seasons culture, values, and people practices.
• Assist with recruitment activities: screening, interviews, onboarding, employer branding.
• Contribute to employee engagement programs, recognition, and events.
• Support learning & development, training coordination, and talent programs.
• Assist with employee relations while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with hotel staff, building strong P&C partnerships.
• Gain exposure to workforce planning, performance, compensation, and analytics.
• Participate in projects to improve the employee experience and business objectives.

About the role

The Four Seasons Hotel Firenze seeks a talented Manager in Training for our P&C department. As a Manager in Training (MIT) - People & Culture, you will work alongside the People & Culture team, gaining exposure to all P&C aspects while contributing to an exceptional employee experience. This 18-month development program is designed for a people-oriented individual with strong business acumen who is eager to make an impact, grow as a leader and build a successful career within Four Seasons. Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and cross-functional exposure, you will develop the skills and confidence needed to become a future leader within the organization.

What you will do

• Support the daily operations of the People & Culture department and participate in key P&C initiatives.


• Develop a strong understanding of Four Seasons culture, values, and people practices.


• Assist with recruitment activities, including candidate screening, interviews, onboarding, and employer branding initiatives.


• Contribute to employee engagement programs, recognition activities, and internal events.


• Support learning and development initiatives, training coordination, and talent development programs.


• Assist with employee relations matters while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.


• Collaborate with all employees across the hotel, building strong relationships and providing P&C support.


• Gain exposure to workforce planning, performance management, compensation, and P&C analytics.


• Participate in projects aimed at enhancing the employee experience and supporting business objectives.


• Develop leadership, communication, and project management skills while preparing for future leadership opportunities.

What you bring

• Degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management or a related field.


• Previous internship or work experience in Human Resources, hospitality, or a people-focused environment is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
