DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Maintenance & Facility Specialist for a strategic start-up site in Alessandria, Italy. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance management on the shop floor, coordinating activities across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building systems to ensure continuous operation.

You will work with Operations, Engineering and HSE to implement maintenance processes, monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, industrial setting. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 3–5 years of maintenance/facility management experience in logistics or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and building systems.
• Experience overseeing contractors and maintenance service providers.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Ensure reliability and availability of site equipment, facilities and infrastructure.
• Coordinate preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.
• Manage external contractors to meet SLAs and safety standards.
• Support maintenance of material handling, utilities, HVAC, electrical and fire protection systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and HSE for site performance.
• Support startup phase maintenance processes and best practices.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

DHL Supply Chain is looking for a Maintenance & Facility Specialist to join a strategic start-up operation supporting a major retail customer at our new logistics site in Alessandria.

We are seeking a hands-on professional with a strong operational mindset , comfortable working directly on the shop floor and personally managing maintenance and facility activities within complex logistics or industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, efficiency, and availability of site equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Manage external contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with service levels and safety standards.
• Support the maintenance of material handling systems, utilities, HVAC, electrical and mechanical equipment, and fire protection systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and drive rapid resolution to minimize operational downtime.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, HSE, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless site performance.
• Support the implementation of maintenance processes, procedures, and best practices during the start-up phase.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, safety requirements, and technical inspections.

What we need from you:

• Technical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Maintenance, Facility Management, Technical Services, or Engineering roles within logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or other structured industrial environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building systems.
• Experience managing contractors and maintenance service providers.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to perform effectively in fast-paced operational environments.
• English Fluent

Salary Package: €32,000 - €38,000 gross annual salary
