EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the plant maintenance team in Lauriano, Italy. The role involves spare-parts management, failure analysis, and implementing central maintenance policies while standardizing processes across production lines and international regions.

The ideal candidate holds a technical degree and has basic data analysis, safety, electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge, with CMMS experience and fluency in Italian and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical or engineering field.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and data management.
• Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• CMMS systems knowledge is preferred.
• Fluent Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• SPARE PARTS: review warehouse spare-parts stock to support production.
• MACHINE PERFORMANCE: analyze failures, support improvements, develop maintenance policies.
• STANDARDIZATION PROJECTS: verify standards and cost containment, perform make-or-buy analyses.
• STANDARDS AND BEST-PRACTICE SHARING: collaborate with production value chain and regions.
• SPECIAL PROJECTS: develop Maintenance 2.0 programs and machine-improvement initiatives.
