The Maintenance Engineer role at Bonatti in Parma is responsible for organizing, optimizing and overseeing maintenance activities during planning and execution phases.

You will define maintenance plans, specify tasks and frequencies, procure materials, support tender evaluations and develop Work Packs for shutdowns, while leading and coordinating teams with a strong focus on safety and reliability.

The role of a Maintenance Engineer is to organise, optimize and oversee maintenance activities during planning and execution phases.

According to the policies and strategies defined by the Management, he shall develop the maintenance plan by defining maintenance tasks and their frequencies for all the equipment, support the execution of the planned activities, and check their effectiveness.

The Maintenance Engineer defines all requirements of materials and spare parts, and provides technical details needed for their procurement.

For activities to be subcontracted / outsourced, the Maintenance Engineer develops the Technical Annex containing all technical information and cooperates in the evaluation and technical alignment of the offers received.

During tenders, the Maintenance Engineer supports the proposal team for estimation of costs.

In addition, during Shutdowns, the Maintenance Engineer develops the Work Packs for each maintenance work, providing details of tasks, manpower, tools and equipment required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop maintenance procedures and provide details of individual tasks for each equipment.
• Develop Work Method Statements when required, and support HSE team for risk assessment.
• According to the policies and strategies defined by the management, develop the maintenance plan by assigning frequencies for each planned maintenance activity
• Collect, organize and maintain all the technical documentation
• Follow-up of the execution of the maintenance activities and provide technical support to the maintenance supervisors when needed
• Define all requirements of materials and spare parts, and provide technical details needed for their procurement
• Develop shutdown Work Packs
• Develop technical annexes for subcontracting
• Support cost estimation phase during tenders, developing manhours and equipment hours estimations.

Requirements:

• 5 years of operational experience in the Oil & Gas industry in the same role.
• Ability to supervise, ability to schedule and multitask
• Key team member and team player, leadership, motivation and technical skills.
• Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, organizing ability, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, adaptability and stress tolerance.
• Industrial Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent
• Ability to read and properly interpret Engineering drawings.

Place of work: Parma, willingness to travel.
