Bonatti in Parma is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Well Production Services Unit. You will lead process engineering activities, review documents, and ensure compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with disciplines, supporting procurement and commissioning, and delivering accurate technical outputs. Willingness to travel is expected as part of project execution.

Competenze

• 2-3 years of experience as a Process Engineer in an EPC environment.
• Competency in industrial plants engineering (tanks, stacks, vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors).
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of Process and Machinery, commissioning and related techniques/tools.

Mansioni

• Lead a team during detail engineering execution and review process documents (PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances).
• Review contract annexes and raise clarifications with the Discipline Coordinator/Lead.
• Attend kick-off and project review meetings; maintain interfaces between instrumentation and other disciplines.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Project Management and Client representatives.
• Provide progress reporting and forecasting to the Well Production Services Unit; ensure deliverables meet standards.

We are currently looking for a Process Engineer for our Well Production Services Unit based in Parma.

The Well Production Services Unit provides different Production services to our clients (Multiphase Pumping, Gas Storage and Gas Boosting, Water Injection, Salt Dilution and Desalting).

The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to lead a team along the project during the execution of detail engineering (process documents like Process Flow Diagrams, Process and Instrument Diagrams, Heat and Material Balances, Equipment sizing).
• Review and comment of technical annexes included in the contract; in case of discrepancies, mistakes or deficiencies in the documents, develop a list of clarifications/comments to be submitted to the respective Discipline Coordinator/Lead and subsequently to the PEM.
• Attendance in relevant meetings as kick off meeting and project review meeting.
• Establish and maintain effective interface between the Instrumentation project team and other disciplines teams, Project Management, Client representative.
• Examine the contractual Vendor List with the Procurement Department.
• Provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Provide progress reporting and forecasting input to the WPM.
• Ensure deliverables quality in term of technical content, compliance with design criteria, international standards and contractual requirements.
• Monitor of design discrepancies between detail phase and bidding phase (quantities and equipment dimensions).
• Provide Vendor follow-up technical support, if required by other disciplines.
• Verify the selection of the suitability of the plants proposed to the Customer through special calculation programs.

Requirements:

• Experience of minimum 2/3 years in the role of Process Engineer, preferably for an EPC company.
• Specific competency in industrial plants engineering (tanks, stacks, vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors).
• Consolidate knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of Process and Machinery, Commissioning and accurate competences of techniques and tools.

Parma, willingness to travel.
