Prysmian Group in Pozzuoli, Italy, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the Maintenance and CAPEX Organization by improving asset reliability, developing maintenance strategies, and providing engineering expertise for safe, cost-effective plant operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in Industrial/Automation/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and 1–3 years in manufacturing maintenance, with knowledge of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance and English

Competenze

• Master's Degree required in Industrial, Automation, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience with preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance is a plus.
• English proficiency, written and spoken.

• Analyze equipment failures and identify root causes (RCA).
• Develop and implement corrective actions to improve asset reliability.
• Monitor equipment performance through KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, Availability).
• Develop and optimize preventive maintenance plans.

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to support the Maintenance and CAPEX Organization by improving asset reliability, developing maintenance strategies, and providing engineering expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective plant operations.The ideal candidate will also participate in a development program called Growing in Manufacturing , focused on learning through on-the-job experience though process, specialty and factory rotations.Key ResponsabilitiesReliabilityAnalyze equipment failures and identify root causes (RCA).Develop and implement corrective actions to improve asset reliability.Monitor equipment performance through KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, Availability).Identify recurring failures and propose permanent technical solutions.Preventive & Predictive MaintenanceDevelop and optimize preventive maintenance plans.Introduce predictive maintenance techniques and condition monitoring.Improve maintenance strategies based on equipment criticality.Review maintenance procedures and standard job plans.EngineeringProvide technical support to Maintenance Leader and CAPEX Leader.Support troubleshooting of complex technical issues.Prepare technical specifications for equipment modifications.Review engineering solutions to improve maintainability and reliability.Continuous Improvement in MaintenanceIdentify opportunities to improve equipment performance.Lead reliability improvement initiatives.Standardize maintenance practices across the plant.Promote best engineering practiceCapex supportSupport design reviews for new equipment.Participate in FAT, SAT and commissioning activities.Ensure maintainability requirements are considered during project execution.Support technical acceptance and handover to OperationsAsset performanceMonitor asset health and maintenance effectiveness.Analyze maintenance costs and identify optimization opportunities.Support spare parts optimization.Maintain technical documentation and engineering standards.RequirementsMaster's Degree in Industrial, Automation, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Preferably 1-3 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Experience in preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities is considered a plus.Basic knowledge of MS OFFICE, CAD 2D/3D, Minitab (or similar)Engineering mindset with strong problem-solving and continuous improvement attitude.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in cross-functional teams.Good knowledge of English, written and spoken.What we offerType of contract: Permanent Full timeLocation: Arco Felice – PozzuoliApplicable Collective Agreement : CCNL Gomma, Plastica, Cavi elettrici e affini.Job Level/Category in line with the applicable collective agreement.Gross annual salary no less than: € 30.000The position is eligible for an individual or collective variable incentive based on the achievement of predetermined performance objectivesBenefitHealth insuranceMeal vouchers / canteenTransport/Parking facilitationOur selection process :1) Application, 2) HR interview, 3) Hiring Manager interviews and 4) Online assessment (30min) if applicable.Prysmian , as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
