AGAP2 is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our Milan office. The role focuses on inspection and maintenance within Oil & Gas projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards while coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of inspection experience, a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, and strong MS Office skills. The position is full-time and on-site in Milan, with a collaborative, multinational environment.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our client's Milan office. The successful candidate will support inspection and maintenance activities within Oil & Gas projects, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards while coordinating closely with contractors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and review inspection and maintenance data from the EPSCC Contractor
• Transmit collected data to the MIEC team on a weekly basis via a secured internal web FTP platform
• Monitor and collect applicable legislation and regulatory documentation relevant to company operations
• Ensure inspection activities align with project specifications and industry standards
• Liaise with multinational teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Support day-to-day maintenance operations and provide technical input where required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 5–10 years of experience in Inspection within Oil & Gas Projects
• Strong computer literacy (MS Office and relevant technical/reporting tools)
• Proven ability to work effectively within multinational and cross-functional teams
• Strong service-oriented mindset and ability to work within client/contractor relationships
• Demonstrated technical competence in relevant maintenance and inspection specialities

The salary range for this position is €40,000 to €60,000 gross per year. The position is governed by the Italian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce and Tertiary Services applied by our company.

Placement within the salary range will be determined based on technical skills, relevant experience in the role, and the outcome of the selection process, according to objective and neutral criteria. In the case of candidates with exceptional qualifications or experience exceeding the requirements of the indicated range, a review of the salary package may be considered, subject to internal approval.
