Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of Inspection experience with strong skills in Inspection method and practices.
• 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector is required.
• ISO 9712 NDT and various API certifications are preferable.

Responsibilities

• Optimize inspection philosophy in compliance with regulations.
• Update Inspection plans based on modifications and new scopes.
• Support data collection for RBI studies and their execution.
• Adjust Inspection Programs/Plans based on RBI findings and outputs.
• Draft monthly inspection reports from collected data.

Description Announcement

Service: Senior Inspection Method Engineer
Duration: 1 year
Service start: April 2026
Working schedule: 8hrs Mon-Fri

Main responsibilities

• Optimize the inspection philosophy in line with Client standards and the legislation in force.
• Update the Inspection plan into IDMS (Inspection Data Management System, ANTEA) according to the plant modifications, new inspection scopes and RBI output
• Support data collection for RBI study and follow-up its execution for Oil Centre and Flowlines
• Ensure adequate adjustment of Inspection Programs/Plans according to RBI output.
• Collect the inspection data to draft the monthly inspection report.
• Support the Corrosion Engineer for the assessment of the major corrosion threat and adjust the inspection plan consequently.
• Develop a Written Scheme of Examination when required according to Company and International Standard
• Coordinate multidisciplinary support to inspection activity attending to the “5 weeks look ahead” weekly meeting and update inspection main activities in Integrated Operational Planning (5 month look ahead).
• Facilitate the interface between Authorities and CPY for Inspection activities.
• Monitor & audit the contractors performance & quality on site.
• Follow up and support General Inspection Service Contract team daily activities
• Assure the quality of the information for feedback (KPI) and reporting.
• Validate inspection reports and ensure anomalies are properly managed through SAP notifications (CMMS)
• Ensure that all activities are conducted in respect of HSE Group standards and Italian regulations minimizing the production short falls.
• Attend to the weekly and daily inspection meetings

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineer degree or equivalent
• 10 years minimum of Inspection experience with strong skills in Inspection method and practices
• 5 years of experience in Oil&Gas sector
• ISO 9712 NDT (preferable)
• API 510 (Pressure Vessel Inspector (preferable)
• API 570 Piping Inspector (preferable)
• API 653 Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector (preferable)
