Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Cristallo, Cortina (Pre-Opening) seeks a Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies for the resort's launch. You will oversee PR, brand communications, content development, partnerships and CSR initiatives with a focus on premium audience engagement.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will collaborate with Sales, Revenue and Corporate teams to ensure a cohesive market introduction across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing & Communications within luxury hospitality or premium brands.
• Previous pre-opening experience is highly desirable.
• Proven expertise in integrated marketing, public relations, partnerships and brand communications.
• Strong knowledge of luxury hospitality marketing trends and guest engagement strategies.
• Excellent copywriting, storytelling and presentation skills.
• Experience managing media relations, events, influencer collaborations and strategic partnerships.
• Strong commercial awareness with analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated Marketing & Communications strategies aligned with the resort's objectives and MO brand standards.
• Oversee public relations activities, media engagement and external communications.
• Produce compelling marketing and PR content including press releases, newsletters and promotional materials.
• Ensure consistency in brand positioning, messaging and tone of voice across channels.
• Collaborate with Digital Marketing to support website content, email marketing and social campaigns.
• Monitor campaign performance, media coverage and KPIs with regular reporting and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, tourism authorities and luxury partners.
• Coordinate media enquiries, press visits, photography and video productions.
• Manage PR agencies and ensure alignment with Corporate Communications.
• Support crisis communication activities with accurate messaging.
• Develop CSR initiatives aligned with MO sustainability commitments and community goals.
• Build partnerships with local organisations and charities, promote CSR internally and externally.
• Monitor and report on CSR impact.
• Plan and execute marketing events, brand activations, PR initiatives and VIP experiences.
• Manage event logistics, budgets, suppliers and guest lists.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners for flawless execution.
• Evaluate event performance and identify improvements.
• Ensure marketing initiatives comply with Mandarin Oriental brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Revenue, Spa, F&B and Corporate teams.
