Acne Studios in Italy is seeking a Footwear Product Developer to craft high-end collections for designated product categories. You will work closely with the Product Manager, guiding development from design to pre-production, ensuring quality, cost, sustainability and timely delivery.

You will manage components, data in PLM, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to meet all product requirements. Fluent English and Italian are essential, with 3–5 years in footwear development preferred.

Competenze

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in footwear product development, preferably from high-end fashion brands.
• Solid knowledge of casual and sportive footwear construction and components.
• Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes and production constraints.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Experience in PLM is meriting.
• B Driving license.

Mansioni

• Follow development critical path from initial design through to pre-production, including technical development of lasts, uppers, soles, materials and components.
• Manage components and sample purchase orders and maintain accurate data on pricing, lead-times, minimum quantity, surcharges and special documentation.
• Organize and track shipments of products across development stages and keep a well maintained archive.
• Partner with quality team on quality testing and analysis of raw materials from prototyping to sampling stages.
• Make comments on the various proto stages and communicate to suppliers on day-to-day operations.
• Enter product data input in internal system PLM and maintain correct information on BOM and product level.
• Maintain balanced communication and a good working process with both internal departments as well as external suppliers to meet all product requirements.
