Acne Studios in Italy seeks a footwear product developer to drive from design to pre-production, shaping lasts, uppers, soles, materials and components for luxury footwear.

You will coordinate components, manage POs, data in PLM, and ensure accurate pricing, lead times and documentation while collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.

The role requires 3-5 years in footwear development, fluency in English and Italian, plus Excel expertise; a driving license is valued.

Competenze

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in footwear product development, preferably with luxury brands.
• Solid technical knowledge of casual and sportive footwear construction and components.
• Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes and production constraints.
• Strong written and spoken English and Italian communication.
• MS Office applications, especially Excel; PLM experience is meriting.
• B driving licence and CV in English.
• Fluent in English.

Mansioni

• Follow development critical path from design through pre-production, including technical development of lasts, uppers, soles, materials and components.
• Manage components and sample purchase orders and maintain accurate data on pricing, lead-times, minimum quantity, surcharges and special documentation.
• Organize and track shipments of products across development stages and keep a well maintained archive.
• Partner with quality team on quality testing and analysis of raw materials from prototyping to sampling stages.
• Make comments on the various proto stages and communicate to suppliers on day-to-day operations.
• Enter product data input in internal system PLM and maintain correct information on BOM and product level.
• Maintain balanced communication and a good working process with both internal departments as well as external suppliers to meet all product requirements.
