Diadora, located in Montebelluna's footwear district, seeks an experienced Footwear Engineer to bridge Design, Product Development and Production.

You will drive product engineering from prototype to launch, overseeing technical integrity, cost targets and quality standards while collaborating with global partners.

The role requires 5+ years in sports footwear, Italian and English fluency, and willingness to travel to production sites.

Competenze

• At least 5 years in a similar role, preferably in sports footwear.
• Deep knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes and pattern-making techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel) and familiarity with PLM systems.
• Native Italian speaker, with intermediate/advanced English for international collaboration.
• Willingness to travel 7–8 business trips per year to Far East production sites.

Mansioni

• Verify and fine-tune prototypes, analyzing last, construction, functionality and aesthetics.
• Coordinate with teams in the Far East and suppliers on industrialization matters.
• Validate technical packs/spec sheets for production readiness.
• Apply Value Engineering to optimize material use and control costs.
• Support QC and field visits, ensuring product quality and compliance.
• Collaborate on new materials and technologies with lab and field tests.
