Job summary

Six Senses Rome seeks a Senior Bartender to uphold our standards of hospitality in a luxury resort environment. You will craft cocktails, manage beverage service, and ensure the highest quality presentation and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years in a full-service outlet, fluency in Italian and English, a hospitality diploma, and a professional approach aligned with our Six Senses values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1-3 years' Senior Bartender experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting.
• Experience in cocktail-making, beverage service and garnishing with excellent knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as required by local government.
• Fluent in Italian and English; other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and attentively.
• Prepare, present and upsell drinks from the menu with knowledge of wines and spirits.
• Maintain cleanliness of menus, wine list and bar areas.
• Work with an empathetic attitude and ensure prompt service.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in good condition; adhere to Six Senses standards.
