Job summary

Auberge Collection is seeking a Pool Attendant for Collegio alla Querce, a hilltop Italian retreat in Florence. This seasonal, full-time role involves welcoming guests at the pool, delivering Food & Beverage service, and maintaining pool-area cleanliness and order.

The position requires at least one year in foodservice or hospitality, a polished appearance, and fluent English. Prior luxury-hospitality experience is preferred, with weekends and holidays expected as part of a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry.
• Prior experience in a luxury hospitality property is highly recommended.
• Superior professional appearance, polished manner, and strong interpersonal skills suited to a fast-paced team environment.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the guest dining experience by taking orders, anticipating needs, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all items.
• Build genuine connections with guests to ensure satisfaction, offering attentive and personalized service throughout their meal.
• Provide Food & Beverage service to guests in lounges and cabanas.
• Serve drinks and food promptly, ensuring cleanliness of Pool areas.
• Comply with Auberge Collection service standards, while thoughtfully suggesting unique menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of food and beverage offerings, providing informed recommendations with confidence and grace.
• Accurately take and place guest orders, input them into the POS system, and manage billing with precision.
