Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is looking for a Logistics Implementation Specialist to turn logistics solutions into operational reality across our network in Italy.

The role supports new customer operations, start-ups, and strategic transformation projects. You will translate requirements into execution plans, coordinate activities, validate feasibility, and drive UAT, testing, and readiness assessments.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Contract Logistics, Supply Chain, or 3PL environments.
• Experience in warehouse start-ups, implementations, or operational transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
• Knowledge of WMS and operational systems.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel across Italy.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of new customer operations, warehouse start-ups and transformation projects.
• Translate operational and solution design requirements into practical execution plans.
• Coordinate implementation activities during project execution, go-live and ramp-up phases.
• Ensure warehouse layouts, operational flows, resources, equipment and systems are implemented according to project objectives.
• Collaborate with Solution Design teams to validate operational feasibility and execution requirements.
• Lead and coordinate testing activities, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), process validation and operational readiness assessments.
• Support the deployment and validation of WMS and operational systems.
• Monitor implementation progress, identify risks and drive mitigation actions.
• Work closely with Operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from project phase to business-as-usual activities.
• Support performance stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives following project launch.
• Act as the key operational reference point throughout the implementation lifecycle.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
• A Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation Management is a plus.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Contract Logistics, Supply Chain, or 3PL environments.
• Experience in warehouse start-ups, implementations, or operational transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
• Knowledge of WMS and operational systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to travel across Italy.
• Fluent English.

Salary package: €42,000 - €48,000 gross annual salary,
