Job summary
PPG Industries in Piemonte, Italy is seeking a Lean & Operational Excellence Specialist to drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement across the plant. You will lead initiatives to improve safety, quality, service, productivity, and cost efficiency, and partner with production, quality, and maintenance teams to deliver cross-functional improvements.
The role requires 3–5 years in Lean/CI, a bachelor's in engineering, fluent English, and hands-on experience with Kaizen, VSM, and problem
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering field.
- 3–5 years in Lean Manufacturing, CI, or Operational Excellence.
- Manufacturing environment experience; process industries a plus.
- Fluent English (B2/C1).
Responsibilities
- Support continuous improvement roadmap and initiatives.
- Facilitate Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
- Lead waste reduction and process optimization projects.
- Develop and monitor KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity).
- Train and coach supervisors on Lean methodologies.
- Lead cross-functional improvement projects.
