PPG Industries (UK) Limited is seeking an Engineering & Logistics Manager to lead Automation Engineering, Maintenance and Internal Logistics at our site in Italy. You will drive capital investments, design and implement automation projects, oversee maintenance and TPM, and coordinate warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient production.
The role reports to the Plant Manager and leads a ~15-person multidisciplinary team, delivering continuous improvement with a strong focus on EHS, quality
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
- Strong knowledge of automation systems and maintenance practices.
- Experience with warehouse operations and internal logistics.
- Experience managing capital projects in manufacturing.
Mansioni
- Lead Engineering & Automation leadership across engineering, maintenance, and internal logistics.
- Plan and execute automation projects and capital investments.
- Oversee maintenance strategies, TPM, and digitalization initiatives.
- Manage internal logistics, warehouse layouts, material flow, and KPI monitoring.
- Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Process Engineering and Supply Chain.
