Vertiv is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Piove di Sacco site in Italy. You will support and optimize manufacturing processes, analyze flows, and contribute to the industrialization of new products while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering, read technical drawings, and possess Lean knowledge. Strong problem-solving skills and English proficiency are required.

Competenze

• Secondary technical school or higher education in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly methods.
• Experience with process improvement and problem-solving techniques.
• Basic knowledge of Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, VSM).
• Proficient with measuring equipment; basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); good English.

• Support and optimize manufacturing processes according to drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and standards.
• Analyze production flows and propose improvements for safety, quality, cost and delivery.
• Participate in industrialization of new products and engineering changes (NPDI / ECO / ECN).
• Define and update manufacturing documentation (work instructions, process flows, layouts, routings).
• Support production during daily operations and troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Cooperate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, EHS.
• Support line balancing, capacity analysis and layout optimization.
• Validate tools, equipment and production processes.
• Ensure compliance with standards, procedures and safety.
• Follow LEAN and 5S; contribute to continuous improvement.
• Perform other activities related to the work type.
• Adhere to integrated management system standards.
