Te Connectivity seeks a mechanical engineering leader to drive end-to-end development of tooling-based termination machines for high-volume wire harness production. You will guide cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into robust, manufacturable solutions while meeting quality, cost, and lead-time targets.

You will apply risk assessment and provide on-site support to ensure safe, reliable designs, while driving innovation and supplier collaboration across a global manufacturing

Competenze

• Bachelor's or master's in mechanical, mechatronics, automation, or related field.
• 3+ years of product development and engineering experience.
• ≥2 years of industrial automation experience.

Mansioni

• Lead machine development projects from concept to commissioning.
• Act as technical lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Develop machines meeting performance, quality, cost, reliability, and lead time requirements.
• Collaborate with global suppliers and review supplier designs.
• Provide on-site testing, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning support.
• Review designs for feasibility, manufacturability, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead root-cause analysis and risk assessments including FMEA.
• Ensure CE compliance.
