Te Connectivity is hiring a hands-on mechanical/mechatronics engineer to lead end-to-end tooling-based termination machine development for high-volume wire harness production in Italy. You will guide cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into robust, manufacturable solutions while meeting safety, quality, cost, and lead-time targets.

You will drive innovation, coordinate supplier designs, perform risk assessments including FMEA, and provide on-site testing and commissioning support

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related field; equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of product development and engineering experience.
• 2+ years of industrial automation experience.
• Strong mechanical and mechatronic design knowledge.
• Experience with risk assessments and leading Design and Process FMEA.
• Proficiency with CAD platforms (PTC Creo, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
